Green Chutney - Coriander mint chutney


This version of green chutney can be served with any snacks such as samosas, tikkis, cutlets, pakoras etc. You can add it to chaats such as bhel puri, paani puri, masala puri etc. I even use this chutney as a sandwich spread in making Bombay Sandwich recipe. 


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup pudina/mint leaves
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 to 5 green chillies
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 4 to 5 cashews
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

METHOD:

  1. In a mixer jar, add all the above ingredients and grind it into a smooth paste without adding water.
  2. Add the lemon juice at the end so that the color of the chutney remains green.
