Gobi stir fry is a side dish that can be a quick fix when in a hurry. It can be served as a side dish with chapathi or phulka or enjoy as it is.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup cauliflower florets
- 2 tbsp gram flour
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- Oil
- Salt to taste
METHOD:
- Boil cauliflower florets in water for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain water and keep aside.
- In a bowl, add gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and salt. Add few drops of water and make a marinade.
- Add the boiled cauliflower florets and mix well. Let it coat well. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- In a wok or pan add a tbsp oil and temper cumin seeds.
- Add in the marinated gobi florets.
- Saute them for few minutes until they turn crisp and golden.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve it hot as it is or as a side dish.
