Bun Nippat Masala


Bun nippat masala is a populqr street style snack,. It is an easy quick recipe to prepare in a jiffy. It is ideal snack recipe for quick bites and kids too love them for their crunchiness of nippat and soft bun with vegetable stuffing.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 to 6 buns
  • 4 to 6 nippat, homemade or store bought 
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled and grated
  • 1 cucumber, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp green chutney (coriander, mint and green chillies)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste
METHOD:
  1. In a bowl mix chopped onions, grated carrtots, cucumber, green chutney, coriander leaves, lime juice and salt and mix well. Keep aside.
  2. Now cut the bun into half. Roast it on a tawa with a tsp ghee on both sides.
  3. Apply a spoon of green chutney on the bottom part of the bun.
  4. Add a spoon of the stuffing and then place the nippat on top of it.
  5. Close and press the top part of the bun.
  6. Serve this snack with a hot cup of tea.
