Bun nippat masala is a populqr street style snack,. It is an easy quick recipe to prepare in a jiffy. It is ideal snack recipe for quick bites and kids too love them for their crunchiness of nippat and soft bun with vegetable stuffing.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 to 6 buns
- 4 to 6 nippat, homemade or store bought
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, peeled and grated
- 1 cucumber, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp green chutney (coriander, mint and green chillies)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Salt to taste
METHOD:
- In a bowl mix chopped onions, grated carrtots, cucumber, green chutney, coriander leaves, lime juice and salt and mix well. Keep aside.
- Now cut the bun into half. Roast it on a tawa with a tsp ghee on both sides.
- Apply a spoon of green chutney on the bottom part of the bun.
- Add a spoon of the stuffing and then place the nippat on top of it.
- Close and press the top part of the bun.
- Serve this snack with a hot cup of tea.
